We get many enquiries from people tracing their family history, looking for information regarding births, deaths and marriages.

Unfortunately we do not keep an archive of records in the parish, and cannot help with these enquiries.

The Church of Ireland RCB (Representative Church Body) Library holds the following records:

• Baptism records for the years 1873 – 2007
• Death records for the years 1780 – 2006
• Marriage records for the years 1845 – 1978

The RCB Library can be contacted:

• Email: [email protected]
• Phone: 01 492 3979

Unfortunately a lot of the parish records were destroyed in a fire in the Public Records office in 1922. There are copies of marriage certificates in the National Library for the period 1729 – 1822 and these can be viewed online at www.irishgenealogy.ie.
