About

Welcome to our website!

The full official name of our parish is St Ann’s and St Mark’s with St Stephen’s. However St Mark’s church was closed in 1971, and so for simplicity we now just call ourselves the Parish of St Ann’s and St Stephen’s.

We are a parish in the United Dioceses of Dublin and Glendalough in the Church of Ireland, a member of the worldwide Anglican Communion.

The parish encompasses the congregations of two city-centre churches in Dublin, Ireland. We are a gathered community drawn from across the city and beyond, united by our shared Anglican faith. We welcome new members seeking a spiritual home.

Our churches are situated in the heart of Dublin’s retail, political and business districts – and we welcome those that are visiting or working in the city to attend one of our services, or to stop into the church for private prayer or to admire our beautiful architecture.

Our Clergy

Our Rector ministers to both congregations in St Ann’s and St Stephen’s, assisted by non-stipendiary and retired priests.

St Mark’s Church

St Mark’s church was closed by the Church of Ireland in 1971, and is now used by the Pentecostal congregation. However St Mark’s has a rich history associated with the parish, and many of our current parishioners share a personal connection to St Mark’s.

Parish Administration

No organisation can operate without a team of hard working people!

Our Parish Manager Kristin Matson looks after so many things, including dealing with venue hire requests, answering queries about parish records, and helping our Honourary Treasurer with the parish finances. If you need her help, please get in contact.

The governance of the parish is the responsibility of the Select Vestry, who act like the board of governors for the church, making decisions of behalf of the rest of the congregation.
