On Sunday 21st June, we were delighted to welcome back Lynn and Phil Mills to our congregation in St Ann’s.

Long-term members will remember Lynn and Phil, who are originally from Canada, as active members of our congregation for around 5 years. Lynn was studying for her PhD in biblical studies in Trinity College. And during that time she also acted as Lay Reader leading some of our Morning Prayer services.

Since finishing her PhD, they returned to Canada in 2022 where Lynn responded to God’s calling to be ordained priest in 2024. And so we were delighted that Lynn was able to celebrate Holy Communion on Sunday.

After the service we also had a celebration of a different kind. Phil and Lynn are visiting Dublin again as part of their 40th wedding anniversary celebrations, and so we presented them with a lovely cake to mark the occasion.
